ElonFacts.org exists to do one simple thing well: present the verifiable record of what Elon Musk and his companies have actually built — and to calmly, with evidence, address the most common myths that circulate about them. Our motto is facts over fiction, achievements over attacks.
The internet is loud. Strong opinions about Musk — for and against — are everywhere. What is harder to find is a single place that links each claim back to a primary source you can check yourself. That is the gap this project fills.
Wherever possible we cite first-party material — company filings, NASA records, government documents — over second-hand reporting.
Where a topic is genuinely contested or the data has caveats, we say so plainly rather than overclaiming. Accuracy beats cheerleading.
Figures carry an “as of” date. The world moves fast; we update numbers as new primary data is published.
Found an error or a better source? Use the “suggest a myth” form, or comment on any page. We fix mistakes quickly and openly.
This is an editorial project with a clear point of view: that the substance of what these companies have achieved deserves to be understood on the evidence. We are not neutral about the value of primary sources — but we are committed to citing them accurately, and to correcting the record when we get something wrong.
