In February 2026, Starlink surpassed 10 million active subscribers worldwide, across more than 150 countries and territories — a milestone reached barely four and a half years after the service first opened to consumers. SpaceX's S-1 detailed the trajectory: about 8.9 million subscribers at the end of 2025, climbing past 10 million in early 2026.
The growth rate has been extraordinary; SpaceX has said recent millions were added in roughly 50-day windows. Starlink now delivers low-latency broadband to homes, ships, aircraft, RVs and remote regions traditional providers never reached, and underpins the connectivity segment that generated $11.4 billion in 2025 revenue.
No satellite-internet operator in history has come close to this scale. Built on SpaceX's own low-cost Falcon 9 launches, Starlink turned thousands of satellites into a mass-market utility — and the financial engine anchoring SpaceX's reported $1.75 trillion IPO valuation.
