X’s public Community Notes dataset holds about 3.26 million notes (3,263,626 created 2021-01-28 to 2026-10-30). That is a floor, not the number ever written: X removes deleted notes from the dataset, and its separate note-status file lists about 465,000 further notes. X publishes the data but not a running count, so this is a tally of the 2026-11-01 snapshot, not an X-announced number. The bridging-based model has been influential, with other major platforms adopting similar approaches.
